September 6th
There were 2 Whinchats near the marsh hide this morning, also 3 Kestrel's, 3 Marsh harrier's, 1 Swallow and 1 Sedge warbler. At reed bed hide there was 1 Green sandpiper,3 Snipe and 1 Water rail. Last Saturday there were 3 Great white egret and 2 Little egret at Stodmarsh. On the way out of the village this morning the leucistic ( grey ) Rook was in the field next to Wild goose cottage.
