A quick visit to the Stodmarsh end this morning and there was a Bittern at Reed bed hide with 400+ Teal and 1 Great black-backed Gull.There is work being done at the Alder wood with the ditch that runs along side the path up to the old boat house having been cleaned out and widened and some tree thinning so not much to report bird wise.I found a scope cover at Harrisons hide yesterday so if any one knows of one being lost contact me via Martyn.
