September 7th
Close views of a Bittern were seen midweek by a regular birder ( Michael ) at David Feast hide,it was in the ditch to the right. Kingfisher's are showing well also,i had 3 at the beginning of the week. Whinchat's are a daily sight in the fields between Harrison's and the metal bridge. There was a nice Red underwing moth on the huts at Stodmarsh yesterday.
