The Stour Valley list for 2018 stands at 119(+1) species so far.

April 6th

Things are livening up at the reserve at last with 4 pairs of Marsh Harriers floating over the reed's with 1 pair nest building at reed bed hide and another pair between tower and marsh hide. Chiffchaff and cetti's warblers calling well and at least 1 pair of Lapwing on the nest at marsh hide. Ben had Sedge warbler, Willow warbler and Blackcap calling.

Mark Chidwick had the first Sedge Warbler of the year on Wednesday 4th, with Curlew and a drake Garganey today 6th.
