I did the circuit this morning, 9am till 12pm, weather was ok till 11am when a strong North Westerly wind and heavy rain set in for a while.I started from Reedbed hide where i see the Beavers have been busy again with a large willow branch stripped of it's bark. there was what looked like a leucistic Mallard there. When i was up by the river a large flock of Grey Lag's flew over the Marsh hide and landed in a field by middle drove, Ben was near them and saw 1 White Fronted and 1 Barnacle Goose among them .My list for today is Teal, Mallard, Cormorant, Marsh Harrier ( 5 ),Shoveller, Black Headed Gull, Wood Pigeon, Chaffinch, Pheasant,Blackbird, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Cetti's Warbler, Magpie, Mute Swan, Robin, Coot, Moorhen, Grey Heron ,Carrion Crow,J ackdaw, Starling ,Tufted Duck, Lapwing, Great White Egret and Sparrow Hawk.
