March 29th
Very foggy this morning at Grove Ferry which cleared as i left at 10 am. At David Feast hide were 1 Snipe on the island,1 female Marsh harrier and 2 Water rail. At marsh hide a Kingfisher flew past but difficult to see anything else, as i was leaving the hide 2 Lapwing and 1 Redshank flew in together. Yesterday 28th there were 2 Blackcap and 1 Stock dove at marsh hide and on Tuesday 26th there was a Jack snipe and 2 common Buzzard also at marsh hide. The support "leg's" for the new tower hide arrived yesterday and i think were put up with the hide itself going up some time in April.
