The Stour Valley list for 2019 stands at 87 species so far.
January 11th
Fairly quiet at the Stodmarsh end this morning with 1 Great black-backed gull, 2 Grey heron, 1 male Bullfinch, 5 Reed bunting,1 Song thrush, 4 Long tailed tit. 1 Kestrel and 3 Marsh harrier. Yesterday 10th was better at the Grove end with 1 Great white egret and a male Fox at the ramp. Approx 60 Teal, 3 Gadwall and 1 Little grebe at Feast hide. 1 Little egret over and 1 Raven over, there is a location at Beltinge that has some Raven's, i have seen 4 there, so could possibly be one of those. Also seen were 1 Black tailed godwit, 2 Stonechat, 1 Cetti's warbler, 1 male and 1 female Bullfinch, 2 Marsh harrier and 2 Ring neck parakeet.
