June 15th
Another lovely morning at Grove Ferry today but still fairly quiet with 1 Shelduck and a few Mallard at the ramp.The Common tern pair are still on the nest at David Feast hide. From Harrisons drove to marsh hide i saw 1 female Bullfinch, 1 Cuckoo, 2 Skylark, 1 Marsh harrier, 9 Sedge warbler, 7 Reed bunting, 2 Reed warbler, 1 Grey heron, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Wren and 2 Linnet. There was a Clouded yellow near the metal bridge and 1 Meadow brown and 1 male Common blue .No sign of any Hirundines here or at Stodmarsh.
