The Stour Valley list for 2018 stands at 153(+1) species so far.
May 24th
At Grove Ferry this morning were 1 cuckoo, 3 Marsh Harrier, 5 Shelduck, 1 Common Tern on nest at Feast hide, 1 Kingfisher, 2, 1 Pied Wagtail, 4 Greenfinch, 2 Ring neck parakeet and a few Swift, Sand martins and Swallow. At marsh hide were 4 Redshank, 2 Greenshank and 1 Black headed gull. Yesterday, 23rd, at Stodmarsh i had 1 Garden warbler, 1 Willow warbler, 1 Nightingale, 1 Hobby and 1 Red Kite.
