The large flock of Mute Swan's were in the kale field again this morning as i drove to Stodmarsh. At marsh hide was the Redshank plus some lapwing and the male Stonechat with the distinctive white wing bar and white throat/chest that i photographed last week. Also 15 approx Water Pipit's and 1 Marsh Harrier. The alder wood was quite busy with 1 Kingfisher, 8 Long- tailed tit, 2 Blue tit, 1 Great tit, 2 Tree creeper, 2 Goldcrest, 1 Green woodpecker, approx 20 Siskin and a fleeting glimpse of a Firecrest.
