Re yesterday’s posting. It would seem that
Mark Chidwick and myself need to swot up on a how to identify amphibians book
as we cocked up with the Toads.
I must thank Julian Russell for contacting
me to point out our mistake and reveal their true identity as Marsh Frogs,
although somewhat dark looking.
When compared to the Marsh Frogs in the
photo on the same posting it’s quite clear they both have the same ridges lines
down their backs and the same knobbling over their backs, just one lot are
green and the others (id’d as Toads) are black looking. We are a couple of
twerps.
